Holden 1969 HT 350
Genuine  Bathurst Monaro Serbing Orange 4spd GTS coupe

built No: within the first 100 cars

This is a poster
ordered car being the same specs as the original HT 350 brochure. 


Unfortunately it has
come to that time i need to sell my

very rare 1969 ht 350 sebring orange 4 spd manual
bathurst gts coupe,

(id tags genuine and have never been removed) 

This car was owned by
its previous owner (deceased) since 1971 before i purchased
it so a lot of its time with him is unknown. 

 This car has possible race history with many early
upgrades showing on it with the likes of dual mirrors, fire extinguisher
mounted under dash, driving lights with relay, 
straight through
dual exhausts with centre supports, also air horns and original hustler alloy
rims. (Not included in sale) 

There was no spare wheel
or jack originally with the vehicle when i purchased it. 


I was also told by
the son of the previous owner (previous owner deceased) that the Original engine was
rebuild in the 90s at a cost of nearly 10k with many costly components (which
was more than another basic coupe back at this time) but unfortunately he can't find
where his dad put the receipt. 

This car has been in
storage its entire life, with the current tyres that are dated in the 1990s and still 80% so its been driven a handful of times since. 

It also retains much
of its original paint and still presents very well on the vehicle. It has had some panel
repaints but these are believed to be from the early to mid 80's maybe even the
90s most from likely racing bumps?  


Saying this it still presents
quite well with a few small dints, except a larger dint in lh rear bottom that i have
shown in pic 2,  crows feet on bonnet black outs and
genuine type scratches.  

It has only 1 small
bubble of rust under the left hand rear window (less than 4mm where they all
rust out from the felt) but its never been repaired to my knowledge.

is signs of wax present still inside quarters etc. 


It is a matching
number car but like i said the engine & gearbox have been rebuilt
previously, i also have checked and it has a matching number carby, alternator,
inlet and exhaust manifolds, steering box and the underneath looks to be nearly
the same etc.

Some of the things i
have done since owning are: 

Cleaned the fuel
system, changed all fluids and bled brakes. 

Rebalanced the wheels

Changed it to
Electonic distributor and coil, (original distributor included)

exhaust engine
pipe (worn through from scrapes 1 side) 

had the carby rebuilt
(dried out and to genuine specs) 

new reverse switch

front seats
re trimmed for Rwc

sourced a jack, brace and spare wheel, changed the rear
wheel cylinders, thermostat, radiator hoses and rebuilt the big nut master


Spares that come with


genuine "ac
delco stamped" fuel pump, old belt, original distributor, 
new fuel pipe to
carby and some books and sales brochure etc. 

Is it a perfect
spotless car, No its a survivor car with only small floors. 


Car will be sold
unregistered as currently on club plates, i do have Vic "HT35O"
plates which are being sold separately but will be offered to the purchaser first. 


This is a very
regretful sale as this was my dream car that i used to admire on the official
ht monaro sales brochures, but unfortunately I cant keep it so my loss is someone else's gain as these will just
keep going up in value especially now holden has stopped production in


This car is listed
elsewhere and i have a genuine offer already so it maybe withdrawn from sale at
anytime if any offers are accepted.

I have had in
appraised recently, so i know roughly what its worth. Check shannons last
sale of a genuine ht350 survivor which i have been told mine is better example
and a more sought after combination.
